Close to 1000 people gathered last Saturday, August 19th for the 2nd annual Pistons, Pin-ups, and Beer hosted by Legacy Brewing Co. In Oceanside, California. Tripling in participation compared to last year, LBC’s marketing director Andrew Bear had this to say ” It was a great outcome, we had more cars than we expected, it was a great turnout”.
Cool cars, rad bikes, and beer, all present in Oceanside. The slightly overcast conditions gave way to a great atmosphere of camaraderie and good times. Just walking around you come across some kick ass rides, slammed chopped customs, trucks, hot rods and many motorcycles, choppers, cafe racers, enduros, baggers you name it. Some of the other attractions included Pinstriping, a mobile tattoo bus provided by Body Art Bus, great food, and bitchin beer by LBC. Live music by the Flipside Burners and Shane Hall, and let us not forget “Ganso” the goose, taking in the sites.
Gathering close to $1,700 dollars in registrations, All proceeds will benefit the Teri Academy Inc. A non-profit that focuses on educating children and adults with special needs and disabilities. For more information and/or to contribute, please visit the Teri Academy Inc. Web site at the following link: www.teriinc.org
